There is such a thing as flu shots for dogs but I'm not sure of the cost. I'm pretty sure it requires a booster shot about 6 weeks after the original vaccine.
If I remember correctly, they were either $25 or $35 each. I did it in December and they had a bogo free, so I didn't have to pay for the booster which is 2 weeks after the initial shot.
I PD $35 and the booster was free or the other way around. You might call and ask them.
Vaccines are available for both H3N8 andH3N2 canine influenza. A bivalent vaccine offering protection against both strains is also available. Vaccination can reduce the risk of a dog contracting canine influenza. However it's always a good thing to know if there is canine influenza outbreak in your area and to keep your dogs away from public used areas with other dogs. It's always the best way to keep your dog from Contracting the virus.
