We had to put our beloved dog Jakey down after his difficult battle with cancer. Dr Peyton was extremely patient with us throughout the diagnosis, surgery, subsequent breaking the news that it turned out to be cancer, and finally helping us to plan his final days and dignified, painless death. At every juncture, Dr Peyton and all the staff were very knowledgable and capable, but also very helpful and understanding. Dr Peyton took the time to explain in detail what was going on with Jake's disease and best treatment strategies, but he also took the time to help us digest the news emotionally. He was very compassionate and thorough in helping us to give Jake, our highly valued family member, the best care we possibly could. Thank you to everyone at Blue Springs Animal Hospital.

I was impressed with their customer service from the initial call to make an appointment. I talked with Susie who was extremely caring and genuinely concerned with my dog’s medical needs. She quickly scheduled me with Dr Groh. Dr Groh called me with a diagnosis and listened to all of my concerns. I could immediately tell that he is truly an expert in the field of dermatology. My experience at this animal hospital was pleasant and even though I live pretty far, I am going to start taking my other animals to get that stellar level of care.

They use Rolling Acres Pet Memorial Center for their pet cremations.
I would think that online booking would be convenient
I think they were like 35 a room
I'm not sure 😕 I'm a dog owner, but I thought it was worth it for my mini pincher,. You should check they out I don't have insurance 😉😜
I think a normal visit is $25-30. Just depends on what you're having done for your fur baby.
Pennhip is so much better than OFA. If you're looking and referring to the hips and elbows they actually do a measurement and not just sign off on a generalization. They are very strict and very precise about recommending a dog for breeding. It's not that more expensive than if you're doing OFA readings but yes please call and find out.
There is such a thing as flu shots for dogs but I'm not sure of the cost. I'm pretty sure it requires a booster shot about 6 weeks after the original vaccine.
