Glad to see the no littering signs! I would like to see a push for local recycling again. Since all the local centers are not functioning anymore or only available to borough residents, recycling "trash" is mounting up. RECYCLE

Where are the public sites?

Jim Lambert | Sep 29, 2019

Hello Joanne, every reisdent is required by Municipal Ordinances to have a trash hauler. Those trash haulers are required to offer recycling services to the residents. The Waste Authority has two sites to supplement the Municipal programs. Bad recycling markets, contamination and illegal dumping are the cause of the Borough and many other programs accross the country to ristrict or out right close down. Recycling works when people recycle properly. It wrecks havoc when they don't. Please contact your waste hauler for curbside recycling if your municipality does not offer a program and the Waste Authority sites are not convenient. Thank you, Jim Lambert
