The first time you go, you will be there a couple of hours or more. You have to get through the educational materials and videos. After the initial time it's usually about an hour (sometimes less) as long as all goes well. If there is any issue with the machine or with the vein you are donating with, it can definitely prolong the donation process. Be sure that you are well hydrated starting from the day before and also the day you plan to donate. Being hydrated helps the process to go faster in my experience.
