So my husband and I are flying into this airport and we are trying to figure out if we will be allowed one carry on each for us and our two kids. Anyone know what the rules for luggage would be.

Those rules are determined by the airlines not the airport. In my experience, all of them allow one carry on and one personal item per person. The personal item can be a purse, backpack, briefcase or even a large pillow. You should check the website of the airline that you are flying with for number and size limits of carry on items to be sure though.
