If iyou let them know this is your first time shooting, they might have some suggestions for you. Personally, I would call them and ask for the manager, tell them your specific situation, and ask him/her any questions that you have to see if you get your desired result. Best of luck to you, it is a fun sport, but not a cheap sport. You can also rent any type of gun you desire, or two!!. Better yet, for someone in your situation, they hold classes there that teach you everything you need to know from beginner to Advanced subjects. It would probably be best to have some classroom instruction before you actually start shooting a gun. Learning about how to handle a gun, operate the controls, care and cleaning, and gun safety is SO very important, and you learn these things in The Beginner's class. A beginner is more likely to unintentionally discharge a firearm when carrying or cleaning, and could lead to injury or worse. Education is IMMENSELY VITAL, for your safety and that of others.!
It would be ok .. it was my first time there in I had a ball .. the staff was very friendly and helpful.. you would be ok.
Once you get in the range you're pretty much on your own...there is always a person on duty in the range but more so to make sure things dont get out of control
For any first time shooter I highly recommend a class. It's the.best way to start off. The classes are thorough and all inclusive. Classroom plus range instruction and firing. NRA
