Hi Kay! I think it would probably be based off of which area is hurting you. I opted for pain managment when I was looking for a non opioid alternative for consistent neck pain and constant headaches. They completed what I believe is called a radio frequency oblation? They burnt the nerve endings in certain parts of my neck. It provided some relief but didn't last long. I also had epidural steriod injections that have also provided some relief. I do take a once monthly injection of a medication called Emgality, for headaches. It is a miracle drug. My headaches are about 90% better. Very expensive but covered by insurance. I also utilize a chiropractor and physical therapist three times per week. I do a massage about once a week if I can afford it. The next step would be surgery and I'm trying to avoid that. Hope this helps some😀
