From library website: Getting a Library Card You may apply online, or visit any library branch with a photo ID and proof of a Cumberland County address. Children under the age of 16 will need parental approval to get a card. There is no minimum age for library cards. Your library card will expire every three years, so you will need to visit any location to update the information on your card. Please bring proof of address when updating your card. Library cards are free for: Cumberland County residentsFt. Bragg residentsResidents of dorms or other residences at Fayetteville State University and Methodist University Non-residents Non-residents of Cumberland County can get a library card to check out materials for an annual fee of $25.
