Once you swipe card it will give you balance
Inside the center, just use a kiosk located near the prize redemption counter. If you are away, I'm not sure if they have remote checking available. I'd call and ask if you're away because they could possibly do it over the phone.
Yes the machine you use to load money on the card with will also tell you the balance. I'm sure the staff can help you check it also.
