Well Brandon, Scoville Zoo officially claims they have not expanded their land holdings. The zoo's rail line (ZOO) is currently being lengthened to run between the zoo and the Children's Museum though. I believe the area between the two is mostly used as a sort of garden/walking path with art works displayed.

The added clearing of land is for the expanded train that will, when finished, go to the children museum.
