Heritages priorities are messed up.. Instead of buying medical equipment that they need, they buy expensive planters outside.... And they fraternize with patients... There is alot of favoritism in this place... Also... Certain Councilors do drugs, but then look down at those who need treatment.... Ive been going there for 3 years, and if there was ANYWHERE that is closer to me, then i would be going somewhere else...
My
The way they do things is a little weird I'd say. You wait for ever to get evaluated I waited 3 hrs .if someone goes there for help I don't think they should wait that long to talk to someone. And wait 3 sessions with a therapist before you can get help. I like my therapist but it think the whole system is odd. I am from a different state so... I'm use to things being faster and direct.

The doctor gets to call in to your appointment via a zoom meeting but I am forced to go in. Totally unfair.

I felt with heritage adult services and essesment at St Mary's. Very saddened by lack of services and handling of people on adult psych floor . Even for st Mary's it was extremely poor review. They have an excellent Dr at their disposal but poor services to clients on the unit so sad. I can only imagine how adolescents must feel. My second dealing with heritage. First 20 years ago.... Sadly it was bad then too.

Hi Samantha. As a concerned friend, you can contact the crisis line and share your concerns with them. The two of you may be able to come up with a plan for addressing your friends needs and possibly engaging them in services. It may also help you feel more comfortable as her support knowing what can help her access services for when she is ready. If you have immediate concerns about her risk of harm to herself or others, please seek out emergency services.
They are open today
Yess.. all of this is true on the other replys... But watch out with your belongings because they keep getting bedbugs... Just saying.. wash all your stuff and dry them really really good when you leave there so you dont have any stowaways..... 😕
They used to before covid but I'm not sure now as they've just started groups again. Just give them a call and someone will be able to answer any questions you have, they're all really nice there 👍☺️
Any phone card will work. Just check to make sure they don't charge a connection fee.
Something business casual. Dress pants with a nice top.
If you are going into the rehab program, 7 days worth of clothing, cigarettes if you smoke, hard candy if you're going to want that. Possibly a small amount of cash in case. Everything should be in trash/plastic bags that can be thrown away. Definitely no luggage. If you are going to the crisis/detox for a few days, it is a little more limited. If you call 362-6262 reception can provide you with a list of things you can and cannot have. Wish you all the luck!
