I am a student and want to take drivers ed , they said that I need a Temporary Instructual Permit (TIP) with me before taking the class. Is it possible I can get one from this OMV?

The answer is yes. I just brought my son 2 wks ago to get his TIP from here.

No, this location is small and basic needs only. If you need to do driving test, suspended license problems, or anything a little complicated, go to the DMV on veterans, or the one out in Hahnville.
