It depends on the experience you're hoping for. Most of the spaces are dimly lit and there is a lot to see, but if you are a paranormal enthusiast and "sensitive" to those types of surroundings you won't be disappointed. The guides are amazing, knowledgeable and have great energy. The exhibits themselves are multifaceted and are about so much more than what one might see with their eyes.
Navigating through the tour would be difficult. It is dimly lit and some spaces are very tight. To see some artifacts you need to peer through small windows. That being said, if you were attending the museum more for a "feeling" and are sensitive to such things, you would definitely find it enjoyable. I did not see a book for sale in the gift shop with pictures of the exhibits.
No pictures are allowed after the main lobby. They do have a gift shop (tshirts, jewelry, books). They do describe some of the items or tell a story about the object. I would suggest maybe calling ahead and telling the waiver attendant so that they could talk to the guides (they all seem friendly enough 😀). They do not allow you to touch anything in the building besides the gift shop.
No book like that for sale in the gift shop. As for your other question, I personally feel that someone with low or no vision would enjoy this because they're is so much to feel in this museum. Plus the guides are fantastic and will describe everything. V
