Why would one remove dressing room and have a 1 week return policy on garments that doesn't fit. For this my family will not return

Bc people stole too much at the store in the dressing rooms, so they removed them.

Its one week w/receipt and tag still attached to merchandise. Then one will have 30 days to exchange the item.
