Find that the service declines some what during peak periods as the restaurant is over subscribed.
It is true. Service tends to be very slow. I called ahead and they stated that the wait was 25-30 mins. I made a reservation 30 minutes ahead. I arrived on time and was told that I had to wait an additional 15 minutes. 20 minutes go by and still was waiting. That's a total of nearly 50mins of wait. I had to leave.
Oh my goodness. It was terrible. Service was bad. Food was bad. I will never go back.
Service has definitely declined. Very unhappy with the service and chef. Party of 5 and only 3 of us got out food on time. Last order delivered 45 minutes after everyone else.
Have visited several B J's and this is the first one that was bad. My wife's beef dip sandwich was nearly all fat, something she does not tolerate. To their credit, they took it off the bill.
I find the service here pretty good. The menu items may not serve everyone. But should be appealing to anyone that enjoys pub style food.
