I just had my 6 month old male cat neutered on Thursday and it still looks like his testicles are still there. Is this swelling normal ? I took another one back in the spring and had to bring him back because they were swollen so bad back

Can address cats specifically but my Male dog was so swollen he looked like he was still intact and he was very red. Wish I could send a picture. I emailed at 10pm and they called me back right away and followed up with an email when I didn't answer the phone. As it turned out the doctor that called back was right and everything settled in few days. She did offer to see him on Monday ( I called on Sunday night) and or call in medicine if I was still concerned.

My males that I had do still have their testicles, they do swell up some. Try to contact them or take them to an emergency vet. There's one in Huntersville and Hickory.
