There is street parking available around Prospect Park's perimeter. Pay attention to parking regulations and bring quarters to feed the meter if you park at a metered spot. Litchfield Villa has a limited number of parking spots available. The Picnic House has permit-only parking for events. Prospect Park is quite large, but like most New York City attractions, it's well served by public transportation. If you are more inclined to drive, there is limited street parking available, or you could opt for a nearby garage, but know that it will not come cheap.
Not terrible
It can be difficult, really depends on time and events. Try to get there as early as possible but you may also have to park a little further away than you would like. Patience and persistence pays off.
Depends on what time of day you go as well. For the most part it will be difficult to find parking right away so give yourself time to find something
I think it's terrible. Especially now that they build more apartments nearby. It also depends what side of the park you want to park on. You may have to drive around or wait a few minutes to get the spot someone pull out of. Becareful of double parking for too long.
