Depends on which side of the park you want to go to. Zoo, Lake, etc.
You can enter at Grand Army Plaza stop on the 2/3 train to enter through the north of the park or the Prospect Park stop on the B/Q train to enter the park in the middle on its east side. You can also take the Q train to the Parkside Avenue stop to enter from the southeast. You can also take the F/G train to the 15th street-Prospect Park stop to enter from the southwest.
I actually don't know the the main entrance is just across the street from the Brooklyn library And you would have your pick of any entrance if you walk towards Empire which is about a 1/2 a mile you would enter for the zoo if you enter near the library that's the main entrance to the park and it goes all the way down so be prepared to have a nice long stroll long stroll the botanic gardens are also further down near Empire and flatbush Hope this helps
The park covers many hundreds of acres (526) and has multiple entries. The most prolific entry is Grand Army Plaza. Good luck!
I don't believe there is an actual address
I usually enter on parkside that's the Q train,, that entrance puts you near supermarket, grocery stores, McDonald's. Entering from parkside there's grills, roller rink,lake, paddling boats ,drummers spot it's beautiful place, lots of walking trails.

The actual address I'm not quite sure, but I would take the F/G train to 15th St Prospect Park. It's where you find the entrance.

There are so many "main" entrances to the park. It's huge and very challenging to assign one address to a park that spans several zip codes. It depends on which part of the park you are looking for. If you are going to the zoo or carousel, they are in one area. If you are looking for the picnic house, it's in another area. Boat house? Also, another area. Grand Army Plaza? Also, another area. Vanderbilt playground? Also, another area. And they are all distant from each other. This is a tough question to answer.
It is large enough that different people have their own favorite entrances. Grand Army Plaza is near the library mentioned, but in most cities would be rated a major park itself. It faces what some would consider the main entrance; it is an address on its own. So would Bertolt Pritchard "square" 20 or so blocks away at what seems like the end of Prospect Park West where 14th Street extends to become Prospect Park Southwest. To appreciate it, you could look at a map. Or you could walk around it getting to your starting place in about 5 miles.

It's a huge park. Many entrances and amenities, with multiple addresses inside.
