I have seen sign saying No
i would assume no, it is a nationally protected site.
The is no metal detecting as this is a federal battle ground. Also it is a graveyard where men gave their live defending their homes.
Go ahead and do it. Start close to the visitors building as there is plenty of foot traffic. And also so the park rangers can find you quickly that that can arrest you and then you'll pay a $10,000 fine and possibly spend a few years in a federal prison .
No. Only time I saw someone with a metal detector was when they had a group there that was doing historical research or whatnot.
No metal detecting & the park rangers are all around. You might not see them but they are there !
Probably depends on the park
It's a National Park so you can probably find the formal answer on their website.
It's worth asking the local park rangers, usually if it's an artifact like a minie ball that they have a lot of, you may get to keep it.
I do not see why not
It's posted no metal detecting.
