John Siefer III | Sep 28, 2018

i would assume no, it is a nationally protected site.

Jacob Kutt | Sep 27, 2021

The is no metal detecting as this is a federal battle ground. Also it is a graveyard where men gave their live defending their homes.

C Brown | Sep 28, 2019

Go ahead and do it. Start close to the visitors building as there is plenty of foot traffic. And also so the park rangers can find you quickly that that can arrest you and then you'll pay a $10,000 fine and possibly spend a few years in a federal prison .

Philip Hanvy | Sep 28, 2018

No. Only time I saw someone with a metal detector was when they had a group there that was doing historical research or whatnot.

Lee Parker | Sep 28, 2018

No metal detecting & the park rangers are all around. You might not see them but they are there !

derpy deathrun | Sep 28, 2018

Probably depends on the park

Gerald Sightler | Sep 28, 2018

It's a National Park so you can probably find the formal answer on their website.

Kirk Boland | Sep 28, 2018

It's worth asking the local park rangers, usually if it's an artifact like a minie ball that they have a lot of, you may get to keep it.

Tina OSullivan | Sep 28, 2018

I do not see why not

David Clark | Apr 30, 2022

Chris Shelton | Sep 27, 2021
