Found this on the way to somewhere. What a gem of a site. Rangers were very friendly and helpful. Don't miss the movie.

Visitors center closed Sunday. Walked the 1 mile vistor center pathway, self guiding tour was very interesting.

Fun trip! Visitor's center was closed Monday and Tuesday. I'd recommend parking at the visitor's center and doing the battlefield loop or battlefield loop parking #2 and follow the loop around to the right. Don't recommend parking at battlefield loop parking #1

A beautiful park rich with history.

I would research my ancestry at thr
Yes there is a paved road around the whole place you can drive or ride or walk on very nice and many bike trails that are very well taking care of
When they are open they have small tents outside. The movie was being shown from a laptop.
It's called living history day. Demonstrations at 10:20, 11:20, 12:20, 1:20 and 2:20.
There's one spot under a big tree that could work for maybe a dozen or two people. But nothing for 100. If you go on the pathways there are shaded areas you could fit that many though. I'd definitely call ahead, they might be able to help clear out a spot.
You can you just need to park at the trailhead. It's past the main entrance on hwy 11 on the right. It's marked
Trails and the main road are open to the public after 5 pm
I'm not sure. But the trail is easy and signs are up telling you about the battle throughout the trail
At the moment they aren't open any Sunday
We were there on wednesday, and they were not able to show the movie, due to technical difficulties.
That depends on if ur driving through the park or on foot..if driving through and visiting the center at the same time about a hour total..if on foot..about 3 hours..if on bike about 2 hours..if hiking the trails on both ends of the grounds ur looking at 3 hours trail time..
Not sure check website
As long as it remains on a 6 ft leash and you clean up after it, yes.
Yep. I was there recently. A number of the few there had their puppers with them.
It took place on January 17, 1781...
I would think not given its historic nature. You might want to check with Park services.
How long does it take you to walk a mile? Plus there's two informative videos they play in the visitor center. I'd say an hour or so if you really look around and read everything. If all you do is want your NPS passport stamp: 5-10 min. But that's not really the whole point is it?
Yes to leash required, not sure of length but is one of the regulations.
They are having a "Celebration of Freedom" on the 7th, but it doesn't look like they have anything planned for today/tonight (per Facebook page).
