Love my SPCA dog. He was neutered and chipped at the SPCA. Did this include the dog license fee? I just learned from a neighbor that a license is required.

Have to purchase separately. Good idea to get one in case your dog gets out they know who he/ she belongs to.

Hi Jean, thank you for adopting! The license is not included in the adoption fee. If you're a resident of Chester County, we'd be happy to get you set up with a yearly license and you can stop in any time we're open to do so. You can also get a lifetime license at the county treasurer's office.
