It really doesn't matter if you purchased with cash or credit card or even a debit card, when they rescan the bar code on the item, it'll show if that said item was purchased there, and possibly the date it was purchased. And also, even if that item was purchased a year or two ago , they will allow you to exchange it for a new one, and if you want your money back, that'll also be returned. That is one of the number one reasons I like and appreciate dealing ( doing business)with Lowe's Home Improvement Stores.
Customer service can most likely pull up your transactions provided if you used a credit card, with said credit card. Not sure about if you purchased with cash.
I have no my Lowe's card,, & was on a duplicate car key costing $94!!! Those chips in keys tho... Smh, but thanks regardless
