How long is too long to wait in an va emergency room? I have been waiting for over an hour and a half to be seen for a cold or the flu?

I dont go to the ER at the VA unless its by AMBULANCE.. I have been stuck at the waiting room for 2+ hours before and swore it was the last time. And just like you, all I needed was some light medication. The sad thing is, I TOLD THEM, that I may just have a cold, but noooooooo...

Ive been stuck in that emergency room for over 3 hours before i was brought back and still had to wait a little over an hour.
