I definitely agree! I was there the other day and I heard that they are just about at full capacity! It was a little heartbreaking to see but I was told by the staff that This Thanksgiving weekend actually, all of the cats will be $50. That includes spay/neuter, age appropriate shots, microchips and a little more. Hopfully this helps a little ma'am and sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss :( there are plenty of adoptable cats that would love to meet you at the HSYC. I suggest that you visit the shelter, one of the staff will be happy to talk to you and walk you through the cat room.
