Each stop is at a historical point and there is plenty to see if you choose to walk. We personally followed the trolley for the whole ride then went back to the places we felt we wanted to see more of
On your way stop a tourist information center and they will have a map. It stops at a lot of there historical cites. Savannah is not a very large city and we put on good walking shoes and go all over.
