Has anyone used this company only to find out you were grossly over charged? I had a tech come out and look at my door - he said the spring was broken and that it would be $800.00. A 2nd company came out and charged $275 to replace BOTH springs.

As we talked about on the phone, it looks like we left you two estimates. The higher cost quote was to un-rack your garage door and then to rebuild the door. This is an option we regularly offer. The working parts on a door such as springs, drums, cables and rollers all have a limited lifespan. When a roller starts to fail, you can usually see wear on other parts. We replace springs and other contractor grade parts with commercial parts that are made to last an incredibly long time. That is why once this repair is made, we put a warranty on our work that lasts as long as you own the home. It does look like we left a lower cost option with you as well, but we failed to go over it with you. I apologize and will address this issue with our technician. THANKS! -Mark King

Compare the springs. The ones they removed from mine were way too light for the door. Poor install by the builder of my house. Precision installed much better springs and much better warranty

yes they charged me 60 for quote then quoted me 500 dollars to repair and 1300 for new door i contacted affordable garage door company in columbia and they replaced a part for 100 dollars no quote done works like s charm
