The truth is all car dealers want to sell their products at the max possible price. They know when U R just fishing for a price. Car sales is a cut throat business. They compete amongst other reps & most have monthly sales quotas. I think most buyers despise car shopping. I don't know your exact poor experience but I've also had some. Maybe I was just lucky last Sept 2017. I bought a new 2016 leftover from Mahwah Honda, 'Dennis B.' No pressure, enjoyed his calm demenor, & very knowledgeable. I ended up saving about 17% off MSRP. Go month, quarter, year end. The main this to keep in mind when buying a car is it's all just meaningless chit-chat until you put a firm offer on the table. That's when they listen. Their "no way" becomes " U gotta deal". You must do your homework, see multi dealers, find a rep. you feel comfortable with. They may wine about your 'too low' offer, but don't be afraid to say thank you & walk. You can always return. Honda's are highly desired.
Not happy with Honda. Go somewhere else if you want a Honda. I thought this place was nice WRONG.
Wouldn't go there unless you want to be ripped off and treated poorly. Tenafly of Honda was a better experience and we saved $1300 compared to Mahwah.
