Not really, just go in & check it out or compare prices online before shopping to be sure it's worth it to you to pay the membership fee. Ask a friend with a membership to shop with them, if you like, but you will want one of your own. It's totally worth it, even if you're single.
They no longer ask for your card when coming into the store but they ask you for it at the register. We are a family of 3 and have greatly benefited from our membership. You get 2 cards and I gave the second card to my parents. We share the cost as they are retired and we are both on a bodget, it's a great deal for all of us.
