It depends. Long haul drivers are paid by the mile. Teams make half of what solo drivers make but they drive much further so they make more in the long run.
It's a split, so each driver gets half the pay per mile, for all the miles paid to the truck. So, if they run out to San Francisco and back, that's about a 5500 mile run. So if the pay is advertised as .57, each driver gets half that, or .285 x 5500.

I'm pretty sure that it's per hour but I don't work there. I'm just daughter to an employee and he has always been paid per hour. And he's been there 20 years. .
