My dog is 9 years old just recently developed cataracts and I'm thinking of having them removed. She is a Schnoodle and is a diabetic. What would the cost be for this type of surgery and what success rate is there?

Thanks for the question Darlene. Surgery to remove cataracts is only done by a Board Certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist. We typically refer our clients to Ophthalmologists in the Albany area. Once they have examined your Schnoodle, they can give you an estimate for the surgery and what they feel the success rate will be. Dr. Reynolds
