Hi Joy... I’m sorry for the delayed response. It is hard when someone has been disappointed so many times. They believe nothing will work. There are so many advancements every day. The best thing to do is to test his hearing and see what is most appropriate for him. If he already has hearing aids, we may be able to reprogram them for him. That may be the best way to get him in... let him know we can work with what he has first. He may even be a cochlear implant candidate. We will know once we test him. We truly just want to help, and we will just give him information to ponder during the first appointment. If you or he would like to discuss further before he comes in, just call the office, and I would be happy to speak with you both. Dr. Davis
