I dont have the plates from my old car I just brought a car can I still register and get new plates? Would I have to pay extra?

Report loss plates then new plates for $25.00 . Of course you have to pay taxes. This is CT.

First you have to report the old plate as a loss and take the new title, license and insurance for the registration of your new car
