It depends on what you want to buy from Costco. If you were to purchase it online you will pay 5% above the price. It is worth the $60 dollars and then you shop anytime you want for a year. If you have a big family there are certain items that you will find it worth buying in bulk. Plus if you don't like it you can cancel your membership. But there are many benefits to having it.

You can buy liquor and use the pharmacy. Otherwise a day pass is needed and I think a 5% fee.
