Northport VAMC is now offering the third vaccine dose of the COVID-19 Pfizer dose for certain groups of Veterans, Spouses, and Caregivers with weakened immune systems following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance on booster shots and additional doses based on the following CDC recommendations:  Over age 65.  18-64 with underlying medical conditions.  18-64 with an increased risk of exposure due to employment or environment.  If you think you have a moderately to severely weakened immune system, contact your health care provider. They can tell you if you can get a third vaccine dose at this time.  If you received the Moderna or Janssen (J&J) COVID-19 vaccine, the CDC doesn’t recommend another dose at this time. please present to the COVID-19 Vaccine clinic in Bldg 5, Monday-Friday 7:30am-2:30pm. If you did not receive your 1st and 2nd dose at the Northport VAMC, you must bring your COVID-19 Vaccine card
