There is not a dress code, however dress appropriately for the performance. Jeans seem a little too casual for all the hard work put into each performance. Carnegie Hall is a once in a lifetime event for some performers, our daughter being one of them. As elaborate as the venue is, casual business attire is more appropriate. Enjoy your performance.
I wondered the same thing. People were dressed casually when I was there and it didn't seem to be a problem.
No dress code at Carnegie Hall, casual outaites are fine.
Wear what makes you comfortable
No,
They won't kick you our if you wear that, but if it's a formal conert (i.e. opera or symphony), you should wear at least a dress shirt with a tie.
No code
Casual is fine.
It may depend on the event type I guess as when I visited them most people were dressed in business formals.
Jeans and t-shirt might feel out of place. When I was there everyone was pretty well dressed. A lot of suits and ties.
Casual is fine. The dtandard norm has been to dress up or to go business casual but more and more performance halls are going now lenient about it
No dress code. Just one of those social norms for people going there. But not required.
