If you want to be able to get into the room, get there early, especially if you are short.
If you want to be close to the stage, get there early
In my experience the opener starts 1hr after the time on the ticket, then the main act 1hr or so after that. Definitely no need to rush to get there!
Go early if you want a spot by the barrier, but shows usually start 30 mins after they let everyone in.
If doors are 7 bands usually go on at 8. However it's standing room only, so depending on who you're seeing and how tall you are you might care to get there early.
Depends on who's the opening act. If the opening act isn't popular you probably can wait to get there if they are popular you may be forced to stand in the back for the main attraction
I concur, bands start playing about an hour after doors open
