It's worth a donation. They weren't aggressive with me, but why wouldn't you not donate to an awesome cause?
Its a 5$ donation to look around the first time , was for me and a few friends anyway. Not sure how aggressive they would've got if we denied it though xD have a safe and awesome travels!
maybe there websites say something for sure. however in my opinion they can and should. I've donated on every visit.
I was there a couple of days ago. It was the first time and when we walk through the initial door the person welcomed us did not ask us for anything and showed us the various places. It was just wonderful. I have to admit that as a Gray beard old man the musical guest wasn't to my liking so as the great Ted Nugent said if it's too loud you're too old and I'm too old. So we went downstairs wondered the pretty environment went out back had a smoke and then we gave five bucks per head to a random jar. It was worth every penny
This place was wholeheartedly accepting of everyone who was there on my visit. Not a hint of rudeness to be found. This is an amazing spot and I plan to go weekly from now on. MCL.
