What movies was this ship used in? My father retired off this ship in 1945 and told me it was used in one movie that he knew of but could not remember the name!

@Cat I just read the USS Constellation was decommissioned in 2003. Where did you get that is was in 1955?

And that ship has been rebuilt as well because it has been on fire down to the water line. There is another ship in Boston, the USS Constitution that could have been used maybe. They are not sisters though. I have not heard of either being in a movie. I was thinking maybe that could help your search.

The USS Constellation wasn't built until 1854, so it was not in the Revolutionary War. She was decommissioned in 1955 though she was only a training vessel after 1940. She's probably visible in any movie set in Baltimore that shows the inner harbor, but I'm not aware of any movie she was actually used in.
