No dogs allowed on any of Volusia county beaches except the dog beaches
No. I had my dogs leashed on the beach and was stopped. They told me I could only have them in the picnic areas far above the beach. They should not claim to be dog friendly online—very misleading.
Yes
No animals....
Leased dogs are fine at the park but taking them down to the beach i dont know sorry. Its only crowded at times on the weekends mainly holidays if you go early you should be fine. Not crowded through the week. Im over there all the time i work at Chadham so i would know lol. If you go across the street theres a playground basketball court it mite have a tennis court ill check if anyone wants to know but im pretty sure it does even piers for fishing but if you go to this one open spot right beside it to the south theres the river an tons of manitees an dolphins beautiful place so it has a beach an the river . Its a big park .Even has showers. There are clean up after your pet signs when you enter the park so pets are definitely aloud at the park.
I have seen leashed dogs on the beach at the park on several occasions. I don't understand why some people are saying this Park is very crowded. Maybe more on weekends but I've never had trouble getting one of the free parking spaces, a beach spot, use a shower or a picnic table.
No
I don't recall seeing dogs on the beach although nor did i notice a sign indicating no pets allowed. It is a public beach, no attendant at the walk way enterance.
