I hear this dr is good and reasonable Naamans Animal Hospital. He needs help fast. Also try calling faithful friends and humane society they might know where you can go. Hope he feels better soon.
It sounds like your cat needs immediate attention. If you need low cost care, please try an animal shelter. They may be able to help or tell you who can help.
Wilmington Animal Hospital has an upfront fee just for the visit. Its like $92 and then whatever treatments and exams he requires. My cat almost died from being in the dryer. I took her there. She was examined. Had a small procedure done, was given fluids and antibiotics with pain meds and my bill was $208. There is a vet on carpenter station road and one in sharon hill, pa on chester pk that you could call and ask about pricing. Sometimes Brandywine SPCA has low cost programs. But your cat may need labs drawn. It sounds like a kidney or urinary tract infection which male cats suffer from, especially if they eat a lot of dry food. It has something to do with the ash content. But if he isnt urinating, you have to get him seen somewhere soon or he could go into kidney failure or become septic. Im not trying to scare you. But I've had this happen. I hope this helps some. Good luck with your baby.
