You have to go through a screening process and most the time your bag is tagged and kept outside. After the event you can pick it back up at the tagging area.
Any bags brought in will be checked, so it's honestly better not to. I just keep my cell phone and money in my pocket. If you want to bring a bag in, then I'd recommend the see through ones on the NFL website.
