Is it true that if you have a handicapped placard you can't be issued a ticket for meters or street cleaning? I was told this when I came to renew my zone permit.

You do not have to pay at the meters...if you have a reserved handicap space, you're required to move once a week (the other day, you will receive a courtesy) just make sure the day you decide to move the vehicle is always the same so you wont confuse the street cleaner...the handicap placard if given courtesy at the meters but NOT for street cleaning....

No you can receive summons for street cleaning by law however the city gives a pass one time a week for street cleaning. If you live in the certain area your asked to move once a week
