Yes, you can bring whatever you prefer. It's all about tailgating. Fans have umbrellas, shade tents..and it gets hot as there is no shade. Cars are parked 6ish feet back from the field and you have to stay behind the cones as the horses come to the edge of the playing field and the boards that separate the playing field and the spectators are about 2 feet high. It's a very exciting event. Arrive early for a good space. At the half you can stomp the divets, kids can ride in the Clydesdale wagon. Well worth the fun!
