They have a very unreliable credit card reader that seems to be down at least a few days every month. If it is working it's very particular about which cards it can read. Bottom line is yes they take cards most of the time but you're always safe just bringing cash. The 7-11 next door has an ATM if the card machine is down or refuses to read your card. They recently started charging $0.75 per transaction to use a card. On the bright side the reader seems to be more reliable lately but I would still use cash if possible.
