You can start your child in a parent tot class around 12-18 months. I didn't put my girl in until she was 2 years old, and she was in a parent tot class with me.
My 3 year old niece loves her class, bouncing around. And my other 5 yr old niece is in her second year with more focused instruction.
My boy started at 5 years old, but I saw younger kids there. There is not a specific age. My 8 years old started level 1 and in her class there were kids from 6 to 11 years old doing level 1
