Oysters here are HAND shucked and rinsed, if you get grit it's because they don't have an X-ray machine. They are $11 for a dozen raw, $12 for 8 fried, and $13 for char-grilled. The grilled platter is topped is crawfish boil reduction queso fresco and Parmesan before being vodka flame caramelized over lava rock.
Dozen oysters are $16.00 and they are full of grit and shell since the person who shelled them didn't know what they were doing. The chef "rolled his eyes" when told they were not good! What kind of response is this? Yes we are visiting and a tourist but this behavior is unacceptable.
