I have seen expired/used decks of playing cards given away at events like car shows. The organizers tell me the casinos give those away and there are copious numbers of decks available. Is that true? If so, could I get some for a personal event?

Not sure if they will "give" them away but I know a lot of times you can go to the gift shop and buy used decks.
