Hi Linda. I just went through angels above cremation recently after losing my father. They were wonderful. I only needed him cremated because his remains were to come with me to a different state for a service. The Direct Cremation is $720. Plus The 'basic merchandise' ( I selected since cremation only) was another $30 and that was for the Tin Urn they provide with his ashes. It is a good idea to order certified copies of the death certificate because many places need them, those are $15/ea. (I ordered 6) Plus a $50 Shawnee County Coroner's fee that was added on with the purchase (which is normal at ANY cremation place). The Sales tax was 9.150%, so on $2.75 for MY transaction, the total I paid was $892.75. All was worth it, and remember, i ordered 6 certificates, so if you only order a couple, it will be cheaper. I hope this helps, b/c I can honestly say that It was worth every penny. They were SO great to work with, as i went into this completely unaware of the process.

The cost of basic cremation is $752.75. However, some counties charge a coroner's permit fee of $50. Death Certificates are also an additional fee of $15 each. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to call us at 785-215-8386 and I would be happy to answer any questions.

I believe I paid 802 or 852. That includes a death certificate. They were very helpful and respectful
