Not, Syracuse airport doesn't require covid test proof, but if you are already vaccinated carry a prof of that, and you can avoid quarantine in your destination.
The News said that the airlines supposed to ask for Covid-19 results before and after returning.
It is up to the airline you are flying on, but it's always good so you can have the test results in case you need them when you reach your destination.
