The park is actually separated from the beach by a small lagoon. Within the park perimeter, a leash is required. We walked around over to the beach and saw many dogs off leash, but I don't know what the actual law/rules are for the beach.
Yes, and I took my pitbull on a leash. Ran around the beach and water for a few minutes just fine. We had a great time!
